Sunday Group Management Expands into Pirelli World Challenge

St. Petersburg, Fla. (7 April 2015) – With new seasons can come new opportunities, and Sunday Group Management is pleased to have expanded its client support base again.

The Indianapolis-based motorsports consulting firm, which supports clients in IMSA and IndyCar competition, has grown to provide client coverage of the Pirelli World Challenge in 2015. The single-driver, sprint race series has enjoyed significant growth thanks largely to its full adaptation of the international GT3 spec.

With a 20-race schedule that stretches from St. Petersburg, Florida in March to California’s Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in October, the series provides live streaming for all the race events. A tape-delay television package is featured on CBS Sports Network with Calvin Fish, Greg Creamer, and Jeff Leppert providing analysis and play by play.

The GT class includes an enviable field of GT3 machines that includes the Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia, Porsche 911, Mercedes AMG SLS, McLaren 650S GT3, and Nissan GT-R, with a subclass for amateur racers that utilizes the same GT3 equipment. World Challenge also grew in 2015 to include the GT Cup presented by MOMO class, which features the Porsche GT Cup car as the spec foundation for the series.

“We’ve had some client project work in Pirelli World Challenge off and on for several years, but we have grown our programs and client base for 2015 and it should be an exciting season,” said Sunday Group Management President Matt Cleary. “From a fan’s point of view, the quality and quantity of content has improved significantly and we are looking forward to helping tell those stories and supporting continued growth here in the States.”
